People You Meet in Heaven
Hello there!
My question of the week is based on The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom reviewed on Monday.
If you believe in Heaven, who do you think you would meet there?

Hello there,
We've talked a lot about fairy tales. My question is:
What fairy tales do you like to see modernized and why? Also, what new fairy tales should I check out?
Happy reading!

Banned Books
Hey there and Happy New Year's Eve!
So I've talked about banned books previously after I reviewed Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. This week I reviewed another banned book so I thought it would be interesting to create a section on the blog that contains the banned books I review because some people want to stay away from those books and some people are drawn towards them. This week I want your opinion on banned books.

Clowns
Hey there!
My simple question this week is a yes or no answer. No deep thought, just want to get a census of what people think. And it's appropriate since this week I reviewed Joyland.
Are you afraid of clowns?

Superpowers
Hi there!
So I've posted a question before about superheroes and the type of images they portray. This week is a bit of a lighter question and because all of the people on Lorien have certain powers:
If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
As always don't forget to subscribe and comment below!

P.S. As always comment if there's a book you want me to read and review!

Down's Syndrome
Hey there!
So Monday's review was on A Prince for Jenny by Peggy Webb. The protagonist, Jenny, has Down's Syndrome and I don't believe Webb handled the character correctly. My question this week is:
How does society view mental illness and disabilities? Are people viewing it as it is or are they sugar coating it?

Protagonists
Hey there!
So Monday's review was on Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire. As the title states it is narrated by an ugly stepsister. My question for you this week is:
What is the importance of reading children stories where the protagonist isn't perfect and pretty or handsome?
Let me know what you think!

Censoring
Hey there!
So this week's review was on Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The question this week is somewhat similar to the topic of the book. And the question is:
Do you think schools should ban books, or should we teach our children to self censor?
As usual please comment your answer below or email it to me: mackenzie.roy@gmail.com
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Dystopian Society
Hey there!
So lately, I've been reading a lot of books on dystopian societies that strangely look like our future. These books have always been some of my favorites. A friend of mine posed a question the other day. He asked, "If you could pick any dystopian society, which would you choose?" I went down my mental list and started naming books. Each one he pointed out that I am assuming that I'm the main character and life kind of works out for me, and that I'm not one of the random people who's life is awful and nobody cares about. So I pose the same question to you, if you had to pick a dystopian society, which would it be and why?
I hope to hear your answers!

Movie vs. Book
Hey everyone!
It's question Wednesday! Monday's post was about The Fault in Our Stars which conveniently enough comes out in theaters on Friday! (I didn't even do that intentionally, it's just the order I read the books.) So here is the question of the day:
What is your opinion of books to movies? Do you prefer to read the book first or see the movie first? What is something film makers can do to improve making books to movies?

Favorite Author
Hey everybody!
I completely spaced on a question yesterday. Uh-oh! So here's your question of the week to think about:
Who is your favorite author and why?
Please comment below!
Also, I'm going to change things up one more time. I have been keeping this quote book for about two and a half years now, and I think every Friday I'll post a quote in addition to answering my question...which I've been slacking on.

Actively Reading
Hey everyone!
So last week I got some good answers to the question I posed last week. I didn't get to post on Friday because I was busy getting ready for Relay for Life that happened this weekend. So this Friday I'll combine both posts. So this week's question is:
How do read? And I mean like do you take notes when you read, do you analyze what your reading, or do you just barrel on through? What kind of reading works best for you?
